there's a constant back and forth between "I hate how long recipes are" and "they need to do that for SEO purposes!" and I think we gotta ask like ... why is it good SEO to make your stuff worse, why have we built an internet that asks us to ruin good things in order for them to be seen

As a guy who got a vasectomy in his twenties, I fully agree. It’s literally so easy and cheap, with no side effects. And taking control of your own bodily circumstances is pretty masculine, in my eyes.
Until abortion is legal in every state, lets require men to get a mandatory vasectomy until they are proven emotionally mature, financially responsible and ready to be a father.

We’ve become a society that lives solely in the future. Displaced mentally from the present moment in every way.
Once I went to a live Ghibli music concert in Paris, and like a shocking number of people just pulled out their phones and recorded essentially the entire concert. And I still can’t stop thinking about it, how surreal and unhinged it is to do this while looking at an orchestra
