i feel that this is not really ultimately about men, its really about a world where the “non-toxic” cultural milieu relentlessly emphasizes an autonomous, secure self that simply doesn’t exist

Yeah, again, talking about The Existence Of Republican Comms Strategy doesn't exactly get us out of the 'constraint' problem.

I don't spend that much time on here, but when I was posting a lot back in August this guy was pretty popular. How about him? Here he is showing off his cool new tattoo he got!

Seems so clear that Tolkien backfitted Sauron onto the biggest villain he made in a children's story, then after doing that though of 17 even cooler villains and just didn't solve the problem

People are *maybe* whispering about it as early as 1794, but it's pretty oblique. Way more likely that Jefferson is just stressed with the election in the 1801 letter. People made up a lot of stuff about everybody during that election.

This doesn't seem possible. The letter Ivanka's quoting is from 1801, the Hemings story doesn't go public until 1802, and the only time we have him even maybe commenting on it is 1805.

I have a buddy who does conservative politics in Canada and every day he struggles against the bare fact that Canada just has a progressive tilt to it, especially in national politics.

The people on this website sound like nothing so much as Canadian conservatives.
