Again, on monitoring #covid in #Austria, viral load is rising again and has doubled in a couple of weeks, especially in Vienna. Interestingly, they also monitor variants, but the most recent data is from middle May so maybe too early to see the new variant

It seems there is a very nice overlap between what was happening in Scotland and in Austria in the last 12 months..

To see a deep trough in cases in spring, followed by a relatively sharp increase during the summer. However, this year, it seems that the spring trough is flatter and more prolonged than usual. Is there any chance that this reflects some better kind of trend?
