The key to a good performance in a Shane Black movie is to understand that it’s a crime movie but play it like a comedy anyway. Wahlberg is totally incapable of that. He can, however, play a comedy like a crime movie, which is why The Other Guys works

It's misremembering to account for a real phenomenon of it now feeling more expensive to be out, which is not because it actually is when adjusted for inflation, but because housing has gotten more expensive and people have less disposable income
