Climate debate hive mind: there is a line in the new Ian McEwan novel (highly recommended!) that refers to some climate change deniers in the UK. I know the last two he’s referring to, but not the first. Minor thing but it’s been bothering me for days! Help!

If you have experienced the cycle of refusal and tribunal for an ehcp while trying to care for a demand avoidant autistic child and you feel the world is
against you, I’m afraid that’s because it is. But at least this episode of Panorama can explain it to others - www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/epis...
Panorama - Kellie Bright - Autism, School and Families on the Edge
EastEnders actor Kellie Bright meets parents who say they’re exhausted by the fight to get the right education for their autistic children.

This month I announced that London has met legal limits for nitrogen dioxide for the first time ever.

When I became Mayor, we were told it would take 193 years. We did it 184 years earlier than predicted.

No flapjacks for Kemi
Climate change is already damaging the nature, beauty and heritage we care for. Without deep and sustained cuts to emissions, nature faces an even more perilous future and the places people love will continue to suffer.

Thatcher first PM to raise global warming at the UN. Theresa May first G7 leader to legislate to stop unmitigated emissions. The Tories have turned their back on their own leaders, their own global leadership, their own credibility.

It’s just possible that the Labour voices who urged Khan to ditch Ulez expansion after the Uxbridge by-election were not, after all, strategic geniuses.
184 years earlier than predicted, London has met the legal limits for toxic NO2 for the first time.

This historic milestone proves that bold action like expanding ULEZ works, protecting children’s health and giving millions cleaner air to breathe.

Problem faced. Policy applied. Policy worked. Politics can work.
For the first time ever, London has met legal limits for nitrogen dioxide.

Cleaner air means a healthier city and big savings for the NHS.

Some good news.

London is meeting legal limits for toxic NO2 pollution for the first time – almost 200 years earlier than predicted – following the Mayor’s "world leading air pollution policies," City Hall announces.

The Ultra Low Emissions Zone - and similar policies - really do work.

Farage’s crew hate our country and the people that make it such a delight. More than anything, I hate the knot of fear he has tied in the bellies of so many amazing people for whom this is home.
Thousands of Londoners have indefinite leave to remain.

They have legal rights and are our friends, neighbours and colleagues, contributing hugely to our city.

Threatening to deport people living and working here legally is unacceptable.
