Tonight Askasleikir (Bowl Licker), the 6th of Iceland's 13 Yule Lads, comes down from the mountains. He likes to hide under beds and steal used bowls to lick them clean of food.

Thanks for this. I saw the link going around and planned to read the article this weekend. Instead, I read the comments and clicked through a few links to find out more about how harmful ABA is. I have two autistic students (one semi-verbal), and I'm definitely looking for more ways to support them.

Finally arrived 82 minutes after pickup. The DoorDash helpdesk gave me an automatic $5 credit without actually asking for details. Oh, and when I'd DMed the driver to ask what was going on, no response. Pre-arrival, I was feeling guilty about a potential 1-star rating. Not anymore. Ugh.

At 6:26, I ordered pizza from a place literally 3 minutes from home. According to the DoorDash app, it was picked up at 6:46. Then the Dasher went literally 7.3 miles(!) in the opposite direction, I guess to pick up another order. Pizza still isn't here and will likely be cold.
