While most "you couldn't make that today" complaints are just whining about natural & inexorable shifts in cultural mores over time, one show that I genuinely think you would not be allowed to produce or market today is Captain Planet and I think it's interesting that nobody ever says so.

Hahahaha I don't do this intentionally but I seem to always go in for stuff where power is a key theme.
TIP: Resolve the problem of sheltered fandomites who can't handle imbalanced power dynamics in their romance by making the power dynamic so extremely problematic in so many directions that they short circuit at trying to figure out who's even got the upper hand

My first BIG fandom was Harry Potter. It took maybe five minutes and I had already shifted over to the dead dove yaoi corner. The H/G and the H/H and the G/H people could fight it out and I didn't care.
Most of the people writing the stuff I liked were decades older than me. (1/4)

I am starting to get mentally back to normal for me which means being in a place where I want to engage in fandom and create.
