About the magic system, the sun is not directly connected to any of the magic, but it is incredibly important to the larger background cosmology. And the sun is frequently present in various myths, often personified as the oldest of five sisters (the other four being - moon, grael, vell, and aea).

The Perennial sea is incredibly deep. And exist in several layers.
The first layer is the Pelagial. This layer extends from the surface to over 27 kilometres deep. And is full of sea creatures from whales and sharks, mosasaurs, and deep sea horrors. And even some undersea civilizations.

But the thing that really nailed it for me - was that later I found pictures an artist had made of the 12 months personified as fantasy figures. And Six of them really inspired me, so I wanted gave the seasons in my world 'personality' inspired by those pictures.

My world has six seasons:

In my Selendis world the main religion worships a triune goddess called Asharti.
She is formally symbolized by a trinity knot / triquetra. Though that is often simplified to a ordinary triangle.
Their church has nine different sects, who each have their own version of the symbol.

Yesterday, I read/played a story where the villains were literally a bunch of evil spiders in a trenchcoat, and they were defeated with the power of *memes*
And it was one of the most awesome and macabre stories I have read in months.
