Came across this old #sciart linocut print I did a while back but the fact that I forgot that it would print backwards and is therefore not quite an anatomically correct heart still haunts me to this day- and let’s not even mention the missing brachiocephalic artery #medsky

Successfully defended my PhD yesterday, and passed with no revisions 🧪 🎉 so glad to finally be Dr. Kalisvaart!

I am thrilled to have received 1st place in the poster competition and 3rd place in the oral lecture competition at the 2024 Canadian Stroke Congress! 🎉🧪

Our work focused on the impact of estrus phase and sex in the rodent collagenase model of intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH).
