I've had this theory for a long time, predating Trump and maybe even Obama, that politicians will take just a normal, uninteresting function of government, then explain it in such an obtuse way that the average person believes it's diabolical.

There's probably some executive branch memo, somewhere, which dictates that when in doubt all officials should ask themselves "What would Nixon do?"
DOJ leadership has put all Public Integrity Section lawyers into a room with 1 hour to decide who will dismiss Adams indictment or else all will be fired. Sending them strength to stand by their oath, which is to support the Constitution, not the president’s political agenda. 🇺🇸

The state department is set to purchase $400,000,000 in armored Teslas this quarter, it's single largest purchase. That is just under a third of what DOGE claims it has saved, and it didn't take an entire team of auditors to find out.
