Legend has it that Gauss discovered this formula as a child. I like to think he wasn’t the only young mind to uncover this little gem and that many more have had the privilege of this discovery and that many others will enjoy it in the future.

2025 is a perfect square. Didn't occur since 1936 and won’t until 2116. Adding 1 to each digit gives a perfect square- 25 is the only smaller integer with this property
