@guardtheleaf.bsky.social I don’t think you quite realize how bad a 25% reduction in border crossings is to the USA. If one border point has 50 Canadians cross and 50 US citizens cross each day, that is 100%. If 50 US citizens still cross, that means that only 25 out of 50 Canadians are crossing.

Product from SE Asia will become inflationary much as it was with COVID. Nobody is coming to collect that Chinese freight

On the Stockmarket. There is no bouncing back here. COVID-19 was a natural disaster and people get past those. This is one man’s policy decision. Even if it all goes back to January 19th levels of control, investors will not feel confident enough that it won’t change in a week.

Since we are investigating PBS, I am concerned that the puppets in Sesame Street have diverse looks and colours. They should all be white, except for Grouch, he lives in a bin. He should not be white.

Why don’t governments around the world collect data on vehicle accident trauma recovery time? It is always a death toll. As a full gear motorbike rider it would be helpful to see comparative statistics on recovery time for geared/ungeared riders.

Is it just me that thinks every major protest internationally against the world order will have flags with the words “Deny Defend Depose”. I don’t think the origin will matter. The system released the evidence against the system, not the perpetrator.

Did anyone else notice that the shooting of the United Healthcare CEO was reported as an “assasination” before the police even released a statement on it. So the system is so broken that all of those in corporate media saw it as a killing backed by motive. What an interesting life.
