I was working with an artist on one of my quests today and as we tried to figure out the environmental storytelling with some roads and rocks and trees and shit I couldn't help but wonder if @anyaustin.bsky.social would be able to sus out what happened 🕵️

The internet wants you to be both
1. Someone who has to change your mind to fit into the changing world
2. Will hold you accountable for any views you held at any point in your life because people don't change

Most places I've lived have been along the Great Lakes or St Lawrence River, and I've always consumed the local tap water. 🥲 Still crazy that this is the best time to be alive healthwise, all things considered. 🤸🏾‍♀️ Always a fan of sleek anims from the CBC explaining dire problems that affect me haha

Was using the cleaning crystals to purify my alignment this morning.

My retainer had too much plaque buildup on it.

to live in modern times is to suffer repeatedly from a poison ingredient, convenience, or app that seems fine at first. and then after you've become poisoned it turns out that it was poisonous the whole time, with no remedy

The older I get, the more evidence I have for my childhood dictating patterns throughout the rest of my life.

Which is some nice wisdom but also A TOTAL PAIN IN THE ASS as an ex-perfectionist who still needs validation from everyone and everything, like a child. Work ≠ school! 😮‍💨

I have 3 guests and am silently judging whoever has done this. We're all over 30.

The guest with ADHD? Possibly, but her home is cleaner than mine, it's uncharacteristic of her. Maybe her partner? Too little data. Could be the guest who still lives with her parents, but that's a potential bias... 🧐

Regarding my appreciation of transit in cities I've lived in, I'll take Montreal's STM stability over hometown Toronto's TTC any day. But I'm also impressed that Torontonians remain much more patient boarding the train. They don't force in before people have mostly exited. More of this pls MTL!

I wanted to buy a fall/winter fleece on sale and did the responsible thing and waited a couple of days to decide. Went to purchase it today and now it's gone from the site. Not sold out. Gone. Along with all of its other out-of-season friends.

God I hate the fast fashion cycle.

Adriana Smith’s baby was delivered. We wish we could say she delivered her own child, but she didn’t get a say in the matter. The state of Georgia got what they wanted. Today, Adriana Smith will be taken off life support. buff.ly/MH9FY07

Do you think anything is missing? I'd add "access to rich sensory experiences" for myself. I love rich colours, distinct and rich flavours in food, music with finely tuned EQ and electronic instruments, rich stories... the intensity of experience. It's blissful, and certainly a luxury to have.

A woman is dead, kept alive as an incubator. Her family can’t grieve. This isn’t pro-life. It’s control. It’s cruelty. It’s stripping women of agency...even in death. If you support this, you’re complicit. Stand up. Speak out. Fight back. Or admit you’re okay with our girls having no rights.
