we desperately need $150
$65 - my wife is on last bottles of nutrition that keep just stable enough to avoid the ER (sometimes) + shipping time it won’t be soon enough but
$10- cats are out of food
$12 - out of painkillers
$40 - laundry

most people will *never* understand the level of “do without” us with severe disabilities like ME/CFS + no income survive on. no $ for laundromat & no energy to hand wash? wear the same clothes weeks at a time (this is our normal daily life)

So the very second someone, well intentioned or otherwise, suggests you offer ~them~ the benefit of the doubt, cut it off right there. We are in a time where it is **not only safer but necessary** to assume bad intent from certain people. I would rather apologize later for protecting myself tbh
