There isn't a news story on #SQA site about the withdrawal of the #NVQ in #Archaeological Practice; checking the #waybackmachine, it was still showing as being available on 14/02/2025, but by 22/06/2025 it had been withdrawn

suggestion from the audience - attend party fundraisers (often reasonably priced) - when you are on the donor list, it becomes much easier to get meetings with politicians

4/4 and the #SCOTUS overturning of the #Chevron deference is not actually driving a great deal of the changes; regulations set by agencies beyond letter of law is not actually the cause of all of current problems, the loss of staff from many agencies and slowing of processes is much more the issue
