We were in Paris a couple of years back catching up with friends. For absolutely no reason he was singing it quietly as we walked around Gare du Nord trying to find our platform. It's one of his "I'm happy" songs too

They really did! I had a 5 CD stereo but it was the tape decks I got far more use out of.

Really? CDs barely had an era in our day between cassettes and mp3s (and don't get me started on discmen)

That Eze song is very catchy.

Same (although not for long on the age front).

Is there anything like The Library Bar fire?
November 23, 2025 at 6:55 PM
No, far fewer trains. Buses run hourly though.

NO! He has Irish, Polish and Arsenal attire, he does not have any English kit.

I don't think this is isolated yet they were proscribed solely on damage to property grounds. I mean I think any injuries were incidental to the intended property damage yet...

I recall you saying. They were in the big forest the train went through while I was asleep. I still haven't seen one. He's looking for birthday/ Christmas present ideas atm so maybe I should suggest a moose safari to the suburbs of Stockholm?

Oh, it's up between Kiruna and Narvik? For some reason I thought it was way further south in the ski area. Beautiful part of the world, but lacking moose iirc, only reindeer visible from the train.

So the ski resorts there could open for the season?
November 16, 2025 at 9:11 AM
Is it going to stay or is this just "transient snow" due to that arctic air blast?

Congrats, enjoy your lunch. It makes me really happy to see people actually celebrating their wins.

A serial killer who also runs a monthly serial killers' cheese, wine and cannibalism evening. Although you'd have to wonder what his definition of depravity is, it could be cheating at cards.

Cynic!

I mean she's a newly fledged adult so quite capable of checking in on the wrong passport, and her issue was resolved quickly, but I think it was a red light at the gate. Her Dad has both and had boarded ahead of us with no such issues.

Flying out or in? And which passport were you flying on (assuming you have both)? I'm sure we had this recently with the teen. I can't recall why but for some reason I think it related to her multiple citizenship status.

Oh, ours are connected to dimmer switches. I have a feeling that's the actual USP of the odd plugs (to stop you plugging Henry into a socket you've reduced the power on) so if you have dimmer switches that appear superfluous those might control these sockets.

We had to Google it after we discovered them, then buy special plugs for the lights, then figure out which switches controlled which sockets, but three years later I really like them.
