TT changed the game when it came to advocacy on social media. That algorithm made it easier than ever to get your message to millions of people, regardless of follower count. Real change in healthcare has happened on several occasions in part because of TikTok. This is a big loss in a lot of ways.

It’s officially the end of an era. TikTok, CapCut and lemon8 are gone. 10:39pm east coast time. I will be posting here and on Snapchat as my main platforms. I’ll be taking a break from socials (maybe a week) first. Finish my painting, meditate and rage sing. (Not necessarily in that order.

Please repost (retweet) stuff on here. Once that stopped on Twitter, we comedians didn’t feel the platform was working for us. I know it’s a wank thing to ask to publicise us, but we need it and we publicise loads of other things. Isn’t reposting a comedian better than reposting outrage? I hope so.

I think I had a mindset shift today. Since this is the world we live in and nothing can be done about it (over night) then fuck it. I’m just going to get really weird with it. This might be one of those iygiygi things but I left my house today feeling more… light?

With twitter/x deceased and instagram trying to compete with TikTok, this place feels refreshing. I’ve missed having a place to post my photos to. I’ll be posting my random thoughts here, but I do make art, from time to time. Here’s a WIP that I need to get back to finishing. ‘Queen of Saturn’
