It takes time to see Percy's charm -- he has to grow on the readers. Knell is fast-growing and invasive -- makes you want the best for him because he's already been dealt the worst hand imaginable.

The bar is so low, an antagonistic criminal who feeds him is wonderful because, hey, he feeds him. 😅

I loved it too! Especially how their two points of view were so different but both so engaging.

I like that, out of context, the illustration makes it almost seem like Percy just lost to a love rival. But in actual context, it is so, so much more devastating to him than something as frivolous to him as that.

Also, really love the silhouette in the background. That's how I'd picture him. XD
