Trump's peace efforts aren't going anywhere any time soon. This last week was theatre alone, on every side. For the Europeans and the Russians the real prize of that theatre isn't peace- it's Trump's attention, the realities only in his head.

@williamcrawley.bsky.social I was a student nurse in the 70's & remember surgeons throwing instruments round operating theatres. Huge egos, bullys, deferential treatment, poor management. Stunned (but not) to hear this still goes on. They need to grow up.
