Dodged the crowded centre and opted for an afternoon at the #NationalTheatre picked End without realising it’s the third part of a trilogy 😁🎭😀

Went in clueless, came out impressed. Clive Owen and Saskia Reeves were brilliant! ❤️❤️❤️

“Proud” owner of the username Anal, thanks to a linguistics organisation that thought, ‘Yes, this is a good idea, to join name and the first letter of the surname”
No, it was not, this feels like a professional betrayal. 😩

The longest running play - a classic Agatha mystery on stage.
An entire nation choosing ice cream 🇬🇧🍦
Me choosing popcorn 🍿
Honestly, the boldest plot twist of the night 😄

We live in tense, exhausting times. That’s why choosing kindness matters - giving credit, sharing admiration, saying thanks. Criticism is lazy comfort. Creation is risk. It’s easier to criticise than to create. I’d rather celebrate what’s good than tear down what isn’t.

Thrilled that the #V&AMembersLounge is back open! ☕️
Nothing makes me happier than escaping the buzz of the main restaurant and sipping my coffee in blissful quiet. And honestly… walking through that very cool glass door feels like entering a secret art-lover hideaway.
My old ritual is now back! ❤️

Here since 4 pm, they started drilling past midnight, now an alarm has been blaring for almost an hour… clearly, the cosmos said, “Let there be noise.”
At this point, I’d welcome a meteor strike just for some quiet.
And hubby is blissfully deaf to the sound and previously oblivious to the smell!
🥴😆

Facebook began as a place to share memories with friends. Now my feed is a reality show starring total strangers, and my actual friends only appear after an archaeological-level scroll.
Meanwhile LinkedIn quietly transformed from “professional networking” to “career-themed dating app.” 🫣

Only I could wait a full YEAR for a show… by mistake😂
Bought it in 2024 thinking it was in 2 weeks, didn’t check the year, then panicked at 2am last week realising it was actually TODAY
Almost missed it because I napped in the foyer🤣
Was fun though, even at moments felt like accidental AI art drops!

Still glowing from the beautiful chamber music evening hosted by the #SlovenianEmbassy! Jernej Albreht, Urška Horvat, Jure Smirnov Oštir & Yoko Misumi were absolutely superb, a perfect blend of classical magic, Slovenian sparkle, and festive warmth. What a treat! 🇸🇮Even though there was NO #potica. 🥴

Gorgeous night with Lisa Marini and her band!
She’s got the kind of voice that fills a room and the kind of kindness that brightens a whole café.
So proud to support our local SE artists and the cafés that give them a stage. #SupportLocal #LisaMarini

Started with a Korean lunch and ended with The Book of Mormon, a musical that proves catchy songs and inappropriate humour can coexist beautifully. 🤣

I’ve been feeling for a while like I’m living in “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” - everyone’s acting wild and I’m just standing here like the one human who didn’t get the alien upgrade. 👽🤷🏼‍♀️
After having a similar conversation with my friend, he sent me this… 🥴

A student asked if there was a Starbucks in North Macedonia, and - me fool - said, ‘Easy, I’ll Google that.’ Three geological eras later, I finally surfaced - closer to the answer, but even much closer to a full-blown existential crisis. 🥴🤣🥳

My brother from another mother planned the perfect Sunday: #AngeliqueKidjo lighting up #RonnieScott’s while I’m devouring a Sunday roast.
She once said, “I don’t like the idea of something being pure. It means we have to be perfect, I don’t want to be perfect.”
Perfectly imperfect - just like us. ❤️

Invited to see #TheTaleofSilyan a magical blend of Macedonian folklore + modern life. It’s emotional, imaginative, and hits today’s story of economic migration in the sweetest, realest way. Makes you laugh, cry, and start a tiny revolution. Release in December!
Tamara’s unexpected hug at the end 🥰

At #UCL-SSEES I dove into the very strong Balkan cultural bond with the broom, the rolling pin & of course - Баба Рога /Baba Yaga / Jaga baba😂 My folk tale ended up involving domestic violence 🫣… but hey, we grew up with these stories and for many in the Balkans, that’s just our folklore ‘normal’. 🤷🏼‍♀️

The punctuation mark “/” (slash) is called коса црта in Macedonian. Literally, коса means “hair” and црта means “line,” so the literal translation is “hair line.”
Machines are funny “hair line” in English has a completely different meaning. 🤣

Enjoyed an incredible #WienerSchnitzel and #apfelstrudel at a #German restaurant Stein’s Berlin in Kensington today!
When leaving I turned to my hubby and said, “Ah, nothing beats cozy Slovenian/Austrian comfort food,” and he replied, “Pretty sure the Germans might disagree!” 🤣

At the festival reception, my hubby pointed and said, “Two empty seats - let’s go!” We sat down, and the girl next to us lit up: “Ooo, Slovenes! I can hear Slovene!”
It turned out she was the director of Three Birds, the Slovenian movie. 😀 A perfect pre-film moment and chat! ❤️

When you both fail the “Which (our) Slavic language are we speaking?”

Him: “English or our language?”
Me: intrigued “Our? Macedonian? Slovene?! ok”
Him: starts speaking Serbian

Me: Oh, of course - the universal one, like in Yugoslavian times.🤣
*Mine was a bit better, my grandpa would’ve proud!😉
