Beautiful bread. I baked a country bread yesterday from a spelt-wheat mixture, but it is not as beautiful as yours.

Ook niet in andere delen van Indonesië, sommige dingen zoals andaliman zijn in Java moeilijk te krijgen.

Ik heb vroeger veel jamblang gegeten, in het javaans heet deze vruchr duwet. Sweet memories.

I asked my teenage stepkids if they’d prefer a bike with only rear-carrier and panniers (lighter and easier to control compared to a bike with front-carrier), but they say “absolutely not, it’s not cool!”. Apparently only old people use panniers.

My last visit to Paris was 11 years ago. Maybe my memory is hazy, but I feel that Paris is more calm and friendly compared to then. Whatever. I’m now a fan of Anna Hidalgo.

And the Frenchies being French, they manage to look fashionable on bikes. I saw many cool old race bikes and colorful helmets. Sadly I have no pictures.

I also saw the cargo bikes being used to deliver goods.

I can imagine that burrata and sambal is a good combo, but kecap manis… haha maybe I just have to try it!

As an Indonesian, the thought of putting kecap manis on burrata just blows my mind 😱.
