Feeling knackered today! I’m on new meds & whilst they do help the pain I’ve been having mad dreams. Started em on Tuesday and all week I’ve been having this same dream where I’m going along a path like I’m a horse? Wtf is that about?
If it happens again tonight that’ll be four nights on the trot!

I’m going to get up early (for me) and get started on my new colouring book with my new markers. I know this makes me sound 7 years old but colouring has saved my sanity since I’ve been off my feet. A few from this week, still practicing shading etc but it’s so satisfying.

Happy Friday all! Quiet one this week due to being absolutely skint, but the Daughter is home later, fresh from seeing Lorde last night and the youngest has (almost) done a whole week in college! For a kid that hadn’t had any formal education for 2 years that’s pretty amazing ❤️

So while I’ve been away, I’ve had my heart brutally ripped from my chest! Well as in my eldest girl started Warwick uni and is living in! I’m due lots of you have been through it but gosh it’s hard isn’t it? It felt almost like a break up! I was an absolute wreck for the first two weeks..

So while I’ve been away, I’ve had my heart brutally ripped from my chest! Well as in my eldest girl started Warwick uni and is living in! I’m due lots of you have been through it but gosh it’s hard isn’t it? It felt almost like a break up! I was an absolute wreck for the first two weeks..
So I’m good, finally have an appointment (pre op) about removing the metal from my knee which has caused all the trouble. So if all goes well and I get the op in the next few weeks as planned…next year I’ll will be back in action on a dance floor near you!

So I had my first post cancer mammogram two weeks ago, and I’ve been absolutely terrified since. Anxiety off the scale. Just called because I couldn’t stand not knowing and I’m thrilled to say I got the all clear. Can’t express the relief I’ve feeling. Emotional mess.

First night on my own tonight for yonks! Lyla at her Dads and Ava is on her first proper night out since she turned 18 on holiday. Got 5 girls camped out in my dining room tonight! I’m the only parent in the group who lets them all sleep over so feel quite privileged ❤️

After a lot of uncertainty as to whether eed actually make it, I’m on bloody holiday! AI, 5*, so a carte menu. Feels like heaven ❤️ the best bit is my pain levels are the best they’ve ben since I had my op!

Been a bit quiet on here lately, few things I had to deal with; life laundry, lots of medical appointments and general ‘stuff’. Anyway I’m back now, feeling fresh (still in pain) and ready for brilliant Summer adventures with my girls.
