I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

I had so much fun chatting with Jamey, the host of the One Drink Book Club! And the drink assigned to my novel Unlucky Mel was an Unlucky Martini, which only had two olives instead of three! It was a vodka martini to fit a particular scene later in the book!

Absolutely loved seeing Unlucky Mel included in BU Magazine’s spring issue as part of the latest releases! But you’d think my alma mater might know that I also received my Ph.D there in 2012! #book #books

How do people with allergies do it? One day of being on an allergy med (b/c I’m stuffed up with a cold) and I will never do it again. My IQ dropped by at least 30 points. My body aged into the 100s. My mental health plummeted. Motivation to do anything like move, breath, exist became nil.

Why tax billionaires when we can ask grandma and grandpa to work until they drop? And let’s not pay workers fair wages throughout their careers so they can afford to retire. Let’s just keep concentrating wealth at the top.

I’d read somewhere that dancing improves mood and realized I couldn’t remember the last time I danced. Maybe at a wedding a few years ago. But yesterday as I cleaned, I played an eclectic mix of music and moved! We’re talking hip hop, 90s pop, disco, and more. Did I feel better after? Sure did!
