Forgive the lack of knowledge but the US system baffles the bejesus out of me.
If you register as one party, that doesn’t prevent you from voting for another, does it?
I’m not sure I get the point of registration.

When we were kids, my sister and I would insist dad took us out on our little sledge around the estate as soon as it snowed the first time. We would sit, he would pull, for a round around the place. Sometimes on snow, sometimes on tarmac.
I miss snow, we don’t get much in the UK.
