Rose Girone, who was believed to be the oldest survivor of the Holocaust, died this week at 113.
She fled Nazi Germany in 1939 with her husband and baby only to be forced into a Jewish ghetto in Shanghai. Still, she would often say, "Aren’t we lucky?"

Today, Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez proposed a new task for to look at electoral reforms which could break up the two party system in Congress, expand the number of House districts, and move the House to a form of proportional representation.
It's a very, very good idea.
