Last month I gave a talk on radical poetic practice at a University in Hyderabad. Feels super relevant to what’s happening this week.

AI advocates have warned that if every author in the class action filed a claim, it would "financially ruin" the entire industry.

People think I’m really quick with sending calendar invites and notes after a meeting because I’m efficient.

Your monthly reminder:

Keep writing. When no one cares, persist. When things appear to be crumbling, keep at it. When it's difficult, push through. When you feel alone, listen to the stories in your blood. Just write. The world needs your stories.

Y'know how a house immediately and rapidly deteriorates as soon as no one is living in it?

I think that happens with people. Even for those who naturally don't need much, the removal of all regular, meaningful connection breaks us down quicker than we realize.

Anyway, yes, AI girlfriends are bad.
