Philadelphia Sheriff Rochelle Bilal warns ICE:

"No law enforcement professional wears a mask... Those that come into our communities wearing a mask to commit crime... You getting arrested".

I think it is probably a bad idea to put clearly unhinged, angry psychopaths in federal law enforcement positions.

Trump says he will force Venezuela to hand over millions of barrels of sanctioned oil, which the U.S. will sell off under his control.

Hello? This is naked extortion of a sovereign country. It’s far past time for Congress to grow a spine and rein in our tinpot dictator.

ICYMI: Today, the United States of America, under the direction of a mentally unstable president, attacked Venezuela, a sovereign nation, kidnapped its leader and his wife, and declared they are now running the country.

It’s exactly as insane as it sounds.

This war and extra-judicial kidnapping is patently illegal and unconstitutional. Political leaders on both sides must condemn it. It’s not about whether Maduro is a tyrant but whether the US is still governed by laws and the Constitution. As if this morning, we are clearly not.

That one person can drag us into a war without consulting or even notifying Congress, or our allies, or fully explaining to the American people why this is necessary, is absolutely bonkers.

Reminder that Congress has the power to stop all of this. Where the hell are they?

Trump is a damned war criminal.

Where is our Congress??? John Roberts & his SCOTUS have done so much damage by declaring a president immune from our laws.

As a citizen I do not agree with this Venezuelan war of Trump's.

Stay focused. This is all to avoid the Epstein files, videos and photos.

Saw a magnet on the back of some guy's car today. Said "Trump 2024: Finally a president with some balls".

Told the wife that at least the guy in front of us is letting people know he's an idiotic chauvinist pig who loves another idiotic chauvinist pig.

Wrong.

The First Amendment protects our right to record law enforcement activity in public — full stop.
DHS says recording or following law enforcement 'sure sounds like obstruction of justice'
Seven federal circuit courts have upheld the First Amendment right to record and monitor the police.

Looking back over the last five years, I've read over 50 books each year.

That seems pretty decent especially when it doesn't include any news articles and technical publications I read regularly as well.

I know many adults that never pick up a book (physical or digital) after school ends.

So when do we get to the point that we understand that Trump is in a Weekend at Bernie's situation here. They are barely even trying it seems.

The U.S. has conducted 19 strikes on alleged drug-carrying boats, killing at least 76 people.

Remember: no judge or jury has found these boats were trafficking drugs. We're simply taking Trump's word for it.

He’s unilaterally acting as judge, jury, and executioner.

This is a danger to us all.

Department of Defense Law of War Manual, Sec. 18.3.2.1 states the "requirement" to refuse illegal orders.

What’s its key example? Wait for it . . . It’s "orders to fire upon the shipwrecked."

Every single congressional Democrat needs to be out there, right now, insisting that Pete Hegseth resign right now and announcing that he will be held accountable for committing war crimes.

If you do not demand accountability here and now, they will only become more emboldened.
Exclusive: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth gave an order to “kill everybody” in the first strike on suspected drug boats in the Caribbean. After two men survived, the mission commander ordered a second strike to comply with Hegseth’s instructions, according to two sources.

As someone who was an enlisted military member and a contractor in the Intelligence Community we were always told that we were to follow the law and call out illegal orders.

We never expected it to happen.

I don't see how Mark Kelly did anything wrong here. He just reminded everyone what to do.

Not sure why we don't have a law that says "if Congress fails to pass a budget, FAA funding automatically continues at the same level until the budget is passed."

Air traffic controllers, safety inspectors and such are essential personnel for our safety and economy. Let's treat them as such.
