Despite Trump having blinked in this tariff war he has moved the Overton window on many things - China, other regions seeking more independence from the US etc. Even if he completely reverses course we will be dealing with the reverberations for the next decade

I don’t think this is correct.
The European Union has around 440 million consumers, it's the world's largest single market. Increase partnerships, agricultural trade, and manufacturing with Asia, Latin America, Africa, and the Commonwealth. We can survive without the US and China, they can't survive without us.
