I will NOT be voting for Mamdami today! Firstly because his name is spelled Mamdani. Secondly because I'm not a resident of NYC, but I would if I could. I'm excited to get out and vote in my local elections today though, and you should be too.

In my last week of paternity leave and I opened my work laptop to take a peak. 222 emails and 80 teams messages. Not too bad I guess?

Made "Coconut Red Curry Sauce and Noodles" I saw on Worst Cooks in America. The reviews said it was a bit bland so I doubled the amount of red curry paste. Its also the first time I've cooked with tofu. Overall id give it a 7/10

Another year, another successful trip to #PAG32. Attended several talks that will affect the way I carry out my work for the better. Meeting old friends and making new ones also brings me joy. Though I had a lot of fun, I can't wait to see my dog again 😭. Until next year ✌️

Now soliciting advice for sending viable (seed) material to international collaborators and receiving non-viable (dried leaves) material from international collaborators (Czech Republic). The USDA’s website is a tad overwhelming and I’d love to chat with someone with experience! Please help!! 🍎

Jess is out of town, so let's check in on Brooks once an hour and see how he's holding up without her. 10am; forlorn. Sitting in the corner of her office on an oversized chair reupholstered just for him (so Brooks believes)
