Made "Coconut Red Curry Sauce and Noodles" I saw on Worst Cooks in America. The reviews said it was a bit bland so I doubled the amount of red curry paste. Its also the first time I've cooked with tofu. Overall id give it a 7/10

Another year, another successful trip to #PAG32. Attended several talks that will affect the way I carry out my work for the better. Meeting old friends and making new ones also brings me joy. Though I had a lot of fun, I can't wait to see my dog again 😭. Until next year ✌️

Lunar halo tonight outside of Pittsburgh. Moonlight reflecting off of ice crystals in cirrus clouds (according to Google). Cool effect I would guess I've seen before but it feels like the first time.

5:30pm - finally emerged from the crate when he heard the fridge open

4pm - I guess my check ins have bothered Brooks because he's now moved to his safe space (the crate)

3pm - we've changed positions! But still have not left the bed

11am, moved to the unmade bed, annoyed by my presence

Jess is out of town, so let's check in on Brooks once an hour and see how he's holding up without her. 10am; forlorn. Sitting in the corner of her office on an oversized chair reupholstered just for him (so Brooks believes)

Escaped into the wilderness this weekend hiking the Appalachian Approach trail and the first few miles of the AT to Long Creek Falls. Favorite part was the morning hike to Springer Mountain (AT southern terminus) in dense fog with frosted vegetation

Repotted these the other day. The smaller one is a Brugmansia (trumpet flower) cutting that's probably not going to make it. The other is a rapidly growing Euphorbia that I hope can grow taller than me someday?
