Helping your child communicate when your child has a communication-related disability isn't ableist. Yes, there are horrible mothers of autistics out there, but much of the hate directed towards autism moms comes from LSN autistics who do not understand the reality of being an M/HSN autistic. 2/3

Actually, advocating for your child’s needs isn’t ableist. - I see a lot of LSN verbal autistics criticize “autism moms” for advocating on behalf of their minimally verbal or non verbal autistic children as being ableist and “speaking over their children.” 1/3

If you are an LSN autistic, you are disabled enough.
