How the hell? I’m not nearly old enough to have an 18 year old. Holy shit. lol
Kiddo says he doesn’t wanna do the rippers. And a bar would be moot as he is rather steadfast on being sober for life. Not sure what else there is to do for an 18th on Dec.23?

Awesome. We have no water.
Did laundry earlier - no problem. Now tho? Weird noises from the taps. Which means probably a water main.
I’ve already gone out and grabbed the jugs of water I carry in the car in case of emergencies, so we can flush the toilets, etc. Hopefully it’s fixed soonish?

Ordered my winter tires today! Full winters. Not all seasons. Gonna be sweet!
And found out why my old tires made noise at 80km/h they were LT and my beastly doesn’t need LT - it can take them but it’s overkill. Maybe if I was towing or carrying loads on the roof - which I don’t.

We’re getting the coolest second hand store! It’s an arts & crafts thrift store!
I literally just put 3 crates of “project stuff” out in storage. And the scrapbooking “phase” when P was born? (Yeah he’s turning 18 this year & I still have that stuff.)

Spoke to a construction fella about the ongoing patio issues, turns out it’s a lot bigger than the property manager has let on. Asbestos, rotten steel beams… the whole building is going to be a construction zone come spring.
Which has definitely tipped the scales on stay or go. We’re moving out.

Stayed in the apartment for Halloween. Had planned on handing out candy at my Dads house, but my son wasn’t feeling it. So, we stayed here.

Had a bonfire last night.
My bestie has purchased a condo, so we had to celebrate! And since the condo is in Edmonton, not Calgary it was nice to get some hang time before she moves.
Had hot dogs over the roaring fire then some monster marshmallows over the embers.
