I think it was 2009 that I went to my first Code4Lib North at McMaster and met the lovely @weelibrarian.bsky.social and @jbfink.bsky.social among others. Looking forward to the next couple of days talking tech instead of budgets etc.

anyone else find they are reluctant to clear out the deleted e-mails folder at work because chances are someone will ask you a question about past practice/decision that could be answered by that stash?

I haven't gotten back into the habit of posting yet but I think what the internet needs today is a picture of my one-eyed cat

last day of work before a holiday break and I have no meetings (so far) so will take opportunity to get myself organized for the new year. Busiest December I can recall and I'm going into my 20th year at UW!

Just a reminder that we're hiring a University Librarian and you or someone you know might be a good fit.

I'm not applying and I'm not on the committee so if you have questions feel free to reach out.

it's only Tuesday morning and it's already been a week. In fun news though I bought a little magnasonic film scanner yesterday and found a picture of my Dad that I hadn't seen before

Starting up on this platform. Spent the past week looking after post-surgery cat who hopefully will transition back to his normal kibble... Stay here for photography, cat news, camping, baking, and the occasional librarian type post
