I believe that Herbert Halbik was the last surviving cast member of #TheThirdMan. He passed away just a few weeks ago.

No. It's unrealistic that the US will turn Hegseth & others over to the ICC. And it doesn't matter who the president is. Both Democratic & Republican presidents in the past did not support the US joining the ICC. I highly doubt that the next Democratic president will be in favor of joining the ICC.

The US is not an ICC member. The ICC began its operation in 2002 but no US president (including Obama & Biden) has ever supported the US joining the ICC.

I highly doubt that even if a Democrat wins in 2028, the US will join the ICC. Both Obama and Biden, when they were presidents, could have joined the ICC but they decided not to. Even if the next Dem. president wants to join the ICC, he/she has to get 2/3 of the Senate to agree.

On Facebook, there used to be a lot of people who consider themselves cinephiles who conceded that TBOAN is a racist movie but then praised it by pointing out how technically brilliant and innovative the movie was. I've seen TBOAN in its entirety only once & that was enough for me.

AFAIK, most white people didn't protest. Some white liberals protested back then but most protesters were black.
