Someone's curly haired puppy ran to my son while we were at Nike downtown, and I spent the rest of our shopping trip trying to find the owner.

That dog didn't want to leave us.

My former coworker is EIC of TexasMonthly. His Senior Editor was asleep in the family river house when floods came and ripped the house on stilts off its foundation.

This story is one of the saddest, most beautiful pieces of writing I have ever read.

Sinners at home isn't as beautiful as it was on the big screen. There was something abt the lighting at the theater that was lost in my home viewing.

Anyone else notice this? Those gorgeous, golden flecked skintones seemed... flat at home.

I guess I just gotta go see more movies AT the movies!

Ups asked me for a check. Ha. I don't have any right now.

I have tried really hard not to order things that are tariffed and hubby thought this was from Denmark. Guess not. The box said China.

In September 2023, geophysicists across the world started monitoring a very odd signal coming from the ground under them.

It was picked up in the Arctic. And Antarctica. It was detected everywhere, every 90 seconds, as regular as a metronome, for *nine days*.
