A LOT of people do not want to hear it but in the United States at least, food has never been safer to eat, not to mention tastier
We are living in one of the few times in human history where you can buy a loaf of bread and if it says it’s made with wheat flour and salt and yeast and water and nothing else, it’s probably made from just those ingredients, and some people want to END this.

there is no “epidemic,” he is almost certainly going to say it is vaccines and, well, stay safe everyone.
RFK Jr: "By September we will know what has caused the autism epidemic and we will be able to eliminate those exposures."

After the Atlantic published the texts this morning, Tulsi Gabbard is confronted today on why she lied in her testimony to the Senate yesterday. She says she misremembered.

"dei medal" you might as well just put "n*gger medal" because that's what they mean to say
This is blood-boiling. Charles Rogers was awarded the Medal of Honor in Vietnam after being wounded three times leading the defense of a position.

Google his name and the entry below comes up. When you click, you'll see the page has been deleted and the URL changed to include "DEI medal."

All I'm saying is, if you ran a campaign on democracy being at stake and democracy lost, isn't it time to be massively freaking out instead of doing this

Just found out that, before the Civil War, it was more common to refer to the U.S. as a plural, "The United States are..." but gradually, after the Civil War, we switched to referring to the U.S. in the singular, which is kinda grammatically incorrect, but better reflects the political reality.

Good.Store sponsored the Lady Griz game tonight and we did a half-time game where middle schoolers had to put on as many socks as they could in 2 minutes.

MDPI is not a serious academic publisher.... What utter nonsense. And this is ostensibly peer reviewed.

I really want this to land, forgive my all-cap screaming: *BACTERIA CAN CONTROL THE WEATHER.*

Some bacteria have evolved the ability to manipulate water at the molecular level, possibly being the reason it rains or snows or hails.

Let's talk about ice nucleating proteins (INPs).

Seasoned eggs go back to at least Ancient Rome, but the idea of "deviled eggs" where spiced yolk is stuffed back in the boiled whites traces to a 16th century recipe in southern Spain.

"Deviling" as in deviled ham & 'fra diavolo' sauces, refers to adding hot spices like pepper, chilis, horseradish.

A few days ago I got to meet Juancho, the LARGEST Orinoco Crocodile (Crocodylus intermedius) that I have ever seen. I calculate he is about 5 m long

He is one of two Orinoco Crocs kept at the amazing Dallas World Aquarium, a place that I really recommend visiting!

NYC is on fire because Eric Adams took a hatchet to the Parks Department budget, firing 51 forestry specialists who remove the dead trees and invasive species most likely to ignite during dry periods.
Eric Adams's Budget Cuts Have Set Up New York City's Parks to Burn
By cutting the exact people meant to keep the city's parks free from fallen, dead trees and keep the forests healthy, the mayor has set up a tinderbox that's already igniting.
