It's Rob Edwards's first game, so I expect a better atmosphere than it would be given our current woes. I'm not feeling very optimistic that we can get a win, though, but you never know...

RIP Mani. One of the best nights I ever had was seeing the Stone Roses at JB's in Dudley back in 1989. Thanks for the memories...

Strand Larsen with a great individual goal to cap off a fine night for the Norwegians. That'll do his confidence the world of good!

I once waited on Boris Johnson at a dinner in Bristol. I poured some of the drip tray into his pint. It's the closest I've come to national service. You're welcome.

Survived intact from a day of quad biking. Gozo is fantastic. None of the vehicular hell of Malta.

My mum just said to me "You should be hung like a horse". When I challenged her over saying such a thing, it transpires she thought it was a punishment horses got. Turns out she's been incorrectly using the phrase since the 90s in various settings

It was definitely his best moment, although the goal against Man Utd wasn't bad either...

Ok President Trump, if you sue the BBC for $1bn for spreading lies, I’ll sue you for the same amount. I reckon Planet Earth would crowdfund that. Then I’ll buy Mar A Largo, turn it into a climate change research centre, free Melania, and put a 1000% tariff on orange face paint.

In Malta on holiday. In the Oliver Reed pub. Better not try and emulate his last drunken binge... 8 pints of lager, 12 double rums, and 14 whiskeys....

Another depressing watch. It's an absolutely monumental task for the new manager to get us out of this hole. There is no flair or creativity up front. It'll be too late to correct that in January. Relegation, here we come...

The 42-year-old has been out of work since being sacked by the side in December 2024 but did not feel the opportunity was right for him.

I'd be happy with Brendan Rodgers as the new manager. He seems like the best available option. He knows the league as well. It's just a shame we didn't sack Pereira when Nuno was available, though...

I'm so looking forward to the international break. I think we are seeing why Pereira never lasts longer than a year at any club. His starting lineups just keep getting more bizarre. Why bench Andre and Gomes and start your best centre half in midfield?

I didn't anticipate this lineup. Looks like Bellegarde and Krejci in midfield...

Just saw the lineups for tonight. It's a B team for both. I think we must be 5 at the back. I'm not feeling very hopeful, but you never know. Come on, the Wolves!
