2°C for the run today, in wet conditions. (Standard Vancouver weather.) I felt a lot of solidarity with any other runners that were out there. I saw ducks, Greek statues, and while running through a graveyard, there was an old fashioned hearse. [2904] #AirWreckRuns

A flower run. I picked these flowers to show because I don’t think they will be around for long. A winter storm is heading this way and landscapers have covered up a lot of the other plants. These ones are naked and defenseless. [2902] #AirWreckRuns

I was surprised to see evening fog; makes for spooky pictures. Usually fog only happens in the morning, but I guess a 93% humidity changes the rules. I’m also surprised I didn’t see any frogs. I expected that if it is that humid, they would be swarming everywhere. [2901] #AirWreckRuns

In Texas, the animal most responsible for human injuries are feral hogs. So when the running trail took me into a sounder of them, I stopped. I let them leave peacefully, making sure not to get between any momma and her piglets. [2892] #AirWreckRuns 1/3

One of the few running perks for the new house is that there is a Trader Joe’s nearby. They have “Danish Kringle”, finally in the almond flavor: The closest thing I have found to actual Danish Wienerbrød. It’s a nice after-run treat. [2890] #AirWreckRuns

First run of the year. The mountain bikers have cleared the Hogzilla trails beautifully. Last time I checked it, it was inpassably overgrown. My biggest obstacle was one (1) fallen tree, where others had already made a path around. Thank you bikers! [2883] #AirWreckRuns

I didn’t expect to be able to complete Marywood Chase today, if ever: it has one of the more elaborate gates I’ve seen and looks really rich behind it. But then a car left while I was passing through, and you have to take the opportunities when they come. 1/4 [2876] #AirWreckRuns

For American Thanksgiving, I took the Ballast out with me to pre-burn some calories. She found a stick beforehand and proudly waved it about for the entire run. This year, I am thankful for: she didn’t hit anyone we passed. [2873] #AirWreckRuns
