We're seeing AI dumbing people down. Rich folks end up doing incredibly dumb things by being surrounded by idiots. I mean, personally my sense of direction and ability to navigate in cities has absolutely been impaired by exvessive use of Google maps.

Honestly between this and Elon, it's really making clear a "use it or lose it" theory of intelligence/ability.

If you're rich enough, you certainly don't *have* to write intelligently. If it isn't something you value, there's no reinforcers for doing it.

So you stop...and then lose it.

Oh, a "guaranteed vote"? Wow.

Resign.
November 11, 2025 at 2:21 AM
O rly?

Resign. Leadership, your senate seat. You're used to giving up, time to do it right.

Vote Schumer out of leadership or stfu.
November 11, 2025 at 2:18 AM
It certainly was orchestrated. By Schumer/leadership. Get him out of there.
November 11, 2025 at 2:00 AM
Fwiw, I'm pretty sure it's A), and that is awful. You are complicit.

Call for Schumer to step down.

Either
A) leadership negotiated to figure out who would provide the votes for this capitulation or

B) leadership failed to hold the caucus together in a crucial situation.

Neither is acceptable to voters.

And Kaine too, of course- just gotta wait longer for that.
November 10, 2025 at 3:53 AM
Kaine is straight covering for Warner. Primary Warner.
November 10, 2025 at 3:53 AM
Every Senate Dem up in 2026 should face a serious primary unless proven otherwise.

I'm looking at Warner in particular.
November 10, 2025 at 3:20 AM
The Senate seems to breed this sort of nonsense with its small numbers. Show votes and symbolic resistance. This is not democracy, this is two Tammany Halls.

Or rather, it was two Tammany Halls. Now one side has been taken over by fascists, the other is operating as if it's business as usual.
November 10, 2025 at 2:28 AM
At minimum, Kaine is covering for Warner here.
November 10, 2025 at 2:21 AM
Nah. He's giving cover to Warner to protect him from a primary. And probably expecting the same in return in the future.
November 10, 2025 at 2:13 AM
Primary that whole list, and then some. This antidemocratic bs of giving each other cover from primary votes has to stop.
November 10, 2025 at 2:09 AM
Warner getting cover from Kaine. Cynical stuff by them to avoid a primary.

We need to primary all of this list, and then some. This antidemocratic bs has to stop.
November 10, 2025 at 2:08 AM
Yup
November 10, 2025 at 1:59 AM
Call me cynical, but I'm suspicious that Kaine is giving Warner cover here. Kaine doesn't risk a primary, Warner does.
