I know it’s not accurate, but the irrational happiness I got at seeing the Garmin VO2 max number go up by a whole 1 after what feels like years 😅

Seems like ocular migraines are a thing for me now (sigh). Not sore but it still takes me a moment to realise what's happening and jeez is it distracting!

Interesting to read - but I'm not sold on remimazolam based on this. Feels like a lot of the procedure in the study doesn't necessarily translate to my practice - (1/3)
Adverse events occurred in 19% of children who had remimazolam & 49% who had propofol
• 15% who had propofol and none who had remimazolam experienced injection site pain
• 26% who had propofol & 9% who had remimazolam experienced intra-op bradycardia

I am really happy with this conceptual study - pure vasoconstriction can improve cardiac output if you increase stressed volume and the heart is preload dependent. We induced preload dependency by HUT and vasoconstricted with phenylephrine.
