When did we liberals get so bad at economic issues? Raising wages is a step forward, but it won’t go far if there’s nothing to spend them on—like affordable housing. ‘Gotta pair higher pay with more housing units to truly tackle affordability.

Always a lot of talk about China but Mexico's economy is deeply tied to U.S. demand, with roughly 80% of exports heading north and making up 30% of GDP. Trade disruptions, tariffs, slower U.S. growth, and reduced capital inflows are going prove tough on Mexico in 2025-26.
