I planted this oak tree about 5 years ago - it was immediately eaten down to the ground by deer/squirrels/rabbits.
I was obviously disappointed, but the tree responded by quickly growing half a dozen new stems.
Just look at it now! - 2metres tall and looking amazing in the evening sun.

I'm not sure how these stages are supposed to progress, you appear to be at 'confusion' - I'm currently stuck somewhere between rage and hysteria...

If it helps, The Japanese love their trees, and love supporting old trees...

Re-stocked the bird feeders only to see that I'm feeding a war between the blue-tits, and coal-tits.
(It's my opinion, that blue-tits are aggressive dickheads)
.
So... hanging more bird feeders to help break up the fights (?), and that means more brackets are needed.
.
I made this.

Like a lot of people, I'm really very good at killing houseplants.
But look at this Calathea - what a great little plant, look how happy it is!

Christmas traditions can be magical.
At this time of year, in this house, that means cursing the name of @paulhollywood.bsky.social...
What kind of sociopath creates a recipe calling for 260g of butter? - the man's a monster!

Ok, confession. I may be intolerant *and* allergic to cow's milk, but it's Christmas in a month, so time to start making mince pies!
There is a *lot* of butter in this mix, I regret nothing.
(There will be even more butter in the pastry...)

Found this at the weekend, growing out of an old tree stump.
I've no idea what it is, but it's weird and I like it!

Hi! Does anyone here know what plant this is?
Growing in a stream in Yorkshire.
Am thinking *maybe* water parsnip? (water celery?)

(Well over a metre tall)
