This past Saturday marked 61 years since the birth of Chris Riley.

Chris played a pivotal role in Austin for so long, both on City Council and as an urbanist elder statesman inspiring the next generation.

I think of Chris often and miss him deeply. He'll be long remembered. Happy Birthday Chris!

Optics matter. TxDOT staff need to see a lot of people tomorrow supporting better walking and bicycling across Texas. This is a big step forward for the agency.
