Not gonny lie I'll never get the argument of getting angry at people that don't tip in the US cause "minimum wage is obscenely low". You know companies can pay more than minimum wage right? They choose the current system you guys have there cause it makes them more profit.

Gotta respect Amazon's lack of using an algorithm. You'll buy a curtain pole and it'll just recommend you 30 more curtain poles until you buy something that's not a curtain pole. No prediction, just raw recommendations.

I just feel like you have to be a certain type of person to get into politics. How can you listen to stories of teenagers killing themselves because they didn't have access to a *non-permanent* medication and still think "yes, we should make it harder to get exactly that".
Good article in the Metro.

"Transgender teenagers pleaded with the Health Secretary to not ban puberty blockers just weeks before they were barred indefinitely, their parents have said."

Trans teens 'begged Wes Streeting not to ban puberty blockers' weeks before ban
'These kids were looking them in the eyes and saying: "My life is over".'

Puberty blockers have been used safely since 1988 for trans kids. No issues. No one had concerns until GC's raised their ugly heads and decided it was best to eradicate trans people. It's never been about PB's, the agenda is purely and simply ensuring trans people and their healthcare doesn't exist.

Very funny to me and me alone that the joke Lonely Island song about how long it takes for the bass to drop, actually drops the bass about 2 minutes faster than the song Opus by Eric Prydz. Dude heard that song and said try me.

I really like YouTube Music, but they gotta sort their auto mixes. Personally I wouldn't call it a "Deep Cuts" playlist if every song is in my top 50 listened of the last year. That's literally the opposite of a deep cut, that's a surface scratch.

My toxic trait is spending hours doing and reading things, and yet still refusing to consider myself an expert in anything at all.
okay, time for a prompt post to distract us all from the horrors. quote this post with your areas of expertise, interest, hyperfixation and/or obsession and invite your audience to ask you questions about them.

If people wanna tactical vote that's absolutely fine. However I dislike the false dilemma many people put on you because you don't want to do that. I really like the Green in my area and I believe in their policies. Why should I vote for Labour instead when I disagree with them?

Botany Manor is brilliant. Gorgeous looking game, fun and elegant puzzles, not too challenging but still makes you think. My only wish is that it was longer because I want to keep playing!

YouTube premieres are so funny. You get 2 minutes of the hardest cinematic visuals and instrumental going, and then it cuts away to "hey guys hows it going"

Feel like I need a Factorio pal. The game is really fun on your own, but there's sometimes just to much to be doing it gets overwhelming. Exact same thing with Satisfactory (though I do prefer Factorio, I love Satisfactory but the building in Factorio is much snappier).

Now, I'm not a security expert, I'm still working on learning a lot of stuff. However, putting a max limit of 15 characters on passwords seems absolutely insane to me. Why would you want people's passwords to be shorter, that just makes it easier to brute force?

2018-2023

So turns out I don't take many photos and it's really hard to find one of just me from 2018. I feel like I never looked close to my age until the beard started coming in.

Never forget when my therapist said I seemed to see myself as a rescuer, and I was like hell yeah until she was like wait no, that's not good for you.
Yesterday my therapy session revolved around what my therapist described as me being "incredibly unentitled", which I'm wearing as a badge of honour (even though my therapist says it's detrimental to me). HOORAY!

Glasgow has the world cycling championships on at the moment and so most of the town is closed to cats, and it's so nice to navigate the town without cars constantly trying to hit you.

They made Strepsils taste TOO nice. You can't make something taste that nice then also put an overdose limit on them.

Honestly I think Blood on the Clocktower might be the only social deduction board game where I'm like yes, I could enjoy this. I'm obsessed with watching it but don't have the group to play.
