I tried getting back to sleep by listing names of jazz musicians, one for each letter of the alphabet. First time through, I allowed first or last name. That wasn't too hard. Second time, I allowed last names only, and got every letter except for X. Who'd I miss?

It's a mistake to displace one's hopes for a happier future onto a sports team, let alone a notoriously unreliable one. Nevertheless, that is what I've done. Better to think about the race for Mayor, maybe.
