Not sure if "scepticism over the advance of technology has led to a revival of RS Thomas’s poetry". There are plenty of other good reasons for a revival. But this is quite good on the best Welsh poet called Thomas:

Reflecting again on how extraordinarily warm by day spring 2025 was in this part of the world.

The mean max is 0.53°C above the 2nd & a whopping 1.37°C higher than the 3rd warmest of 1945-present.

Not one spring out of 1947-1989 managed 15.0°C or above. 2025's mean was 16.79°C!

Some good news...

We are currently gaining 4 to 5 minutes of daylight each day with eastern areas seeing sunrises before 7am

By the weekend parts of western Britain will be seeing sunsets after 6pm
