This remarkable reversal in the fortunes of cars and bicycles can be attributed to active promotion of cycling by the Paris city authorities, and by a cultural change spurred on by Covid-19.

Policing in the capital city is woefully inadequate. Police no longer "walk the beat," and driving by in a SUV isn't effective. Look at implementing a city bicycle patrol unit! It'll be way more effective. This area is also poorly lit!
