Bit late to the party but finally got the chance to watch K-Pop Demon Hunters two days ago. Honestly reminded me of Promare as in its narrative shortcomings are so obvious but ultimately don't matter because the highs hit so hard.

Seeing so many people online complaining about catastrophic weather while simultaneously denying climate change would be funny if it wasn't killing us. Like yeah, sure, it's not what the science has been telling us for decades. They must be controlling the weather. That's more likely.

Can you really call it a famine if food is actively being withheld and blocked from the area? Or is there a different term that more accurately describes what's happening?

Heute einfach Zeuge von Racial Profiling an der fucking Rewe SB-Kasse geworden. Wirklich geiseskrank was Menschen in diesem Land mitmachen müssen weil sie anders aussehen. Und wirklich geisteskrank was für ein Wurm man sein muss dass dir eine so geringe Menge an Macht direkt zu Kopf steigt.

Every time I read something like this I am reminded of David Lynch. His movies changed me as a person and the way I engage with art and especially movies. They're to be experienced, to be felt, to be connected to on an emotional level. They're not puzzles meant to be solved.
Somewhere along the line, people got more interested in things Making Sense and Being the Art Police than they were in Art Eliciting an Emotional Response in Them and... yeah, man, if you view art that way, you should work in an office, or plastics, or be an accountant. Art isn't for you, hoss.
This is such an electric take. I think that Nintendo "retconning" things left in right across Zelda, Pikmin, etc., and now Donkey Kong is really just a skill check. If you are upset by these things you gotta have a talk with yourself in the mirror, walk around the park, and then try again
