I have just completed the second draft of this novel that I began writing a decade ago and then set aside. I'm pleased with how it's turned out. Now the search for a literary agent commences. As a fallback, there's always Kindle Direct Publishing.

Today is Black Cross Day. The origin of the Black Cross (which doesn't really exist) stems from Hurricane Luis, which ravaged the Caribbean, including the island of Sint Maarten (Dutch side)/St. Martin (French side). A photographer and I needed to get in to cover it, but authorities were denying
