the amount of "as a white person" and "you're so aggressive" and "people wouldn't be racist towards you if you were nicer to white people" all said to me during the span of a year is CRAZY

I encourage the death of twitter but it leaves a very bad taste in my mouth when people act like artists making a living by posting where the community are clapping for nazis. Nobody ever put their eggs in one basket by posting on only one platform and none of them will ever pinky-promise love us.

test results revealed I don't have any heart or lung conditions. it's likely gastrointestinal+fibromyalgia. thankfully they put in a referral for a diff gastroenterologist. bc my gastro appointment is in January.

I'm curious what the linguistic term is for a simile that is missing key words that must be inferred. Example: His new sword parried like silk.
The sentence as written doesn't make sense; silk doesn't parry. That said, the reader can infer that they're talking about things *sliding* off silk.

I'm still not over Alessandro Barbucci (artist of W.i.t.c.h.) making a stupid AI image for April Fool's and doubling down when people rightfully criticized him 🫠 Those posts are gone now, thank goodness, but it really eroded my trust in him as an artist.
Seeing one of the artists you looked up to since you were a teenager post AI prompts of their own work to start a “discussion” is like a stab to the heart. “Art tool” my ass.
